Part 3 – the ‘Do Over’; Giving yourself grace to start over!
Therefore spend your time wisely – and by wise I mean live your life the way you want to live it. Don’t let the main timeline hijack your timeline. Comparison is indeed the thief of joy and by comparing your timeline to others, or what the main timeline dictates how you should live your life, you aren’t spending it and you aren’t present. To clarify, I say ‘main time’ generally as it is affected by where you live and what cultural and society boundaries you are staying in. A person’s timeline in the USA would be much different then a person living in China. It might feel like it is the whole world – but there are so many timelines to partake and choose from.
A good example is when traveling – pretty much it is an opportunity for you to pause your timeline for a second, and take a dip and enter someone else’s timeline for, hopefully, pleasure and fun.
It is like sampling, but like anything, if you sample and never feel full from your own main course, you will end up chasing and never facing the root of your anxiety and problems that your own timeline causes.
So ask yourself, am I living in the present in my timeline?
If you say yes, congrats, keep going, but if not, remind yourself that in this moment you have the ability to reset and start over because it is all relative.
Don’t like your job? Pause. Don’t like your relationship? Pause. The timeline can be paused and in the moment, being in the present, you can allow yourself to review it and ask yourself is this timeline you want to be living in? And if so, how do you improve it? Don’t do something drastic, but take your time and don’t let the timeline pressure and sweep you off your feet.
And remember, to take your time!
